The Caledonian is positioned conveniently in the heart of Ullapool. The Ullapool clock is said to be the most photographed clock in the Highlands, when you see it you can't help but realise why. In 1899 the Clock was erected in the middle of the road between the Caledonian Hotel, the corner of Quay Street and Argyle Street.

For the spirited, sea fishing, loch fishing and deer stalking are all an option here for those who love the great outdoors. If you wish to visit the splendid the picturesque Isle of Lewis, a ferry departs from Ullapool for Stornoway twice daily.

We can arrange all aspects of your wedding be it transportation, photography or a great florist. We are always on hand to assist with those finer details.

Family and friends attending your wedding will also receive preferential overnight accommodation rates during their stay. Why not indulge in dinner and drinks at the Caleynn, perfect to calm those all important nerves prior to your wedding day?

On the Day

With a full licence for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, you can host your ceremony as well as your reception at the Caledonian Hotel. After the ceremony, enjoy a champagne reception followed by a splendid meal. After the speeches, dance the night away in the Mackenzie, creating the perfect setting for your wedding.

After

Bride and groom will be guided to one of our superior rooms with stunning views over the harbour and surrounding hills. The following morning breakfast will be served to your bedroom to enjoy at your leisure. Transportation can be arranged to whisk you off to Inverness airport to take you to that all important honeymoon location.
