Relax in style in our splendid Leisure Club situated in the hotel grounds. Built and equipped to the highest of standards, Derwent Leisure is the ideal venue for those who enjoy a calming swim or for the energetic, a more vigorous workout in the fitness centre.

Our heated indoor pool is complimented with a spa bath and a children’s pool adjacent to the main pool. After your swim you can relax with a sauna or sit poolside and take in the stunning view through the panoramic windows.

Upstairs, and overlooking the pool, is our fully equipped fitness centre featuring an extensive range of cardio-vascular and weight training equipment. Our fully trained staff are there to assist you and devise suitable programmes to ensure that you make the most of your visit.

Before

Derwent Manor is situated in acres of Northumberland countryside and this setting provides a stunning backdrop for your most memorable day.

Our experienced Wedding Co-ordinators are available every step of the way in the lead up to your special day. They will ensure that your wedding runs perfectly with advice, planning, preparation and assistance to make your wedding day complete. Full show-rounds of all facilities including banquet rooms and bedrooms are available.  Assistance and advice can be given with regards to such details as flowers, balloons, photos/videos, gifts and speeches.

On the day

On your special day, a member of our management team is assigned to specifically look after your wedding and help you through the whole day to ensure that everything meets with your expectations.

Included in each formal wedding reception are a red carpet arrival, a glass of sparkling wine on arrival for the bride and groom, complimentary room hire for the main reception room, personalized menus for each table, personalized table plan and place cards, to name but a few.

There are also special accommodation rates available for wedding guests. We do have suites available in the hotel and the Bride and Groom may choose to upgrade to one of these suites.

After

The bride and groom can enjoy a full English breakfast the morning after their wedding and this can be taken in the company of their guests who stayed overnight or this can be served to the bedroom. Of our 5 suites, the recently refurbished Derwent 1 is a spectacular and memorable room for the Bride and Groom to stay in. Beautifully decorated and furnished, this suite offers a luxury bathroom with free standing pedestal bath, his and hers basins, a separate luxury shower and under floor heating. The bedroom also offers panoramic views and extremely spacious accommodation.

For family and friends who wish to stay, all our standard rooms are elegantly decorated and fully en-suite and all rooms have one or two double beds. Special rates are available for guests staying on the wedding night and further discounted packages are available for guests who wish to extend their stay to two or more nights.

The Grand Hall, with its stunning baronial ambience, is the most impressive setting for the larger conference or exhibition. Situated on the ground floor and with external access, the Grand Hall can cater for events up to 300 guests. It has an impressive ceiling height, numerous power points, telephone point, portable staging and natural daylight.

Situated on the first floor, the Allensford Suite provides a spacious setting for the larger event. Featuring timber beamed ceilings and a panoramic view over the Derwent Valley, this suite cannot fail to impress.

The Garden Room, situated on the first floor, offers a traditional country house setting for your event. The room has natural daylight, power points, telephone point and its own conservatory for refreshments or syndicate work.

Situated on the first floor, the oak panelled Murray Suite is an elegant area for your event. The suite offers natural daylight, power points, telephone point and can be used for a variety of events.

The uniquely shaped Tower Lounge is an ideal setting for the smaller event. Located at the front of the hotel, The Tower Lounge is perfect for small meetings, syndicate work or formal interviews. The suite has power points, telephone point and natural daylight.
