In the area

Thanks to its remarkable fine weather and miles of untouched sandy beaches, the town has been a favorite holiday resort dating back to Victorian times. The Newton Hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the delightful surrounding areas.

You may wish to consider a boat trip on the Moray Firth where you may be lucky enough to spot bottled nosed dolphins. Or perhaps a visit to Inverness Castle, now used as the main courthouse. Visitors cannot visit the area without taking in Loch Ness – will you catch a glimpse of the Loch Ness Monster?

For golf enthusiasts, there is Nairn Golf Course, host of the Walker Cup in 1999. A truly remarkable feature of this course is that from every hole you are spoilt by the magnificent views offered by the Moray Firth.

A delightful area in the Highlands of Scotland, the hospitality of the town is matched by the welcome that awaits guests at the Newton. Standing in 21 acres of mature parkland and gardens, yet close to the Highland Capital of Inverness, is the Newton Hotel. On the day

Our team will be on hand during the day to ensure your well thought out plans become wonderful memories. The Newton Hotel is licensed to hold both Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships on the premises, which us allows us to host not only your wedding reception, but ceremony as well. After a delightful wedding, you and your guests will be left to dance the night the away.

After

Next morning, the Bride and Groom will awake in our magnificent Bridal Suite, overlooking our enchanting landscaped gardens. Enjoy a champagne breakfast in your room, or take a hearty full Scottish breakfast with your guests to reminisce before they depart. The north coast of Scotland is an almost untouched paradise with miles of white sandy beaches and magnificent scenery posing as an ideal location to begin your honeymoon.
