



Stonefield Castle Hotel is situated in historic Argyll on The Mull of Kintyre near the pretty fishing village of Tarbert. The Castle stands high on the famous Kintyre peninsula, commanding spectacular views over Loch Fyne and is set within 60 acres of woodland gardens.
Stonefield Castle Hotel is an outstanding example of Scottish Baronial Architecture, built in 1837 as the once home of the Campbell family. In keeping with its unique setting and character, many of the original period features have been retained to complement the timeless ambience that is Stonefield Castle.
The hotel has 32 individually and tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms, with view over our gardens and Loch Fyne.

The pretty fishing village of Tarbert is just a short drive from Stonefield Castle and is well worth a visit to see the fishing boats and yachts coming and going. If you are lucky and patient you observe a pod of dolphins that are sometimes to be found in the harbour.
There are many walks and trails in the area to suit all hikers and ramblers. Enjoy a spectacular journey to the south of Oban at Seil Island or visit the amazing Correyvreckan Whirlpool and stunning and remarkable wildlife.
Fly Fishing on Loch Fyne can be arranged for you along with Horse Trail Riding at the nearby Brenfield Estate.
