In the area

The Highlander can be found in the small village of Newtonmore. The Village is situated in the famous Spey Valley amidst the splendour of the Monadhliath and Grampian mountains. Newtonmore is a popular holiday destination and an ideal base for sporting recreation. Skiing and snowboarding are available in the winter months.

Why not visit the Cairngorms National Park which boasts many rivers, lochs, moorlands, forests and glens. After an energetic walk of discovery, enjoy the best of Scotland with a wee dram.
